Since its inception 34 years ago, the university has expanded significantly from its modest beginnings. In 1992, education commenced in Efeler and Nazilli with a foundation of five faculties: Science-Literature, Medicine, Veterinary, Agriculture, and the Nazilli School of Economics and Administrative Sciences. This initial structure was supported by three institutes, a School of Tourism and Hotel Management, and a School of Vocational Studies located in Söke.
Over the decades, the institution has grown into a diverse academic hub. Today, it boasts 21 faculties, 3 institutes, a State Conservatory, 19 Vocational Schools, and 36 Application and Research Centers, providing a wide array of educational pathways for students.
